Questions motel owners ask
Does it book the room?
No — and it never says it did. It takes the request (name, dates, party size, what they’re after) and passes it to you to confirm. Which rooms are free is something only you know, so promising one is not ours to do.
Can it tell guests the door code?
Only if you typed it in. Access instructions come from your own written notes and are never made up — and if you haven’t given it any, it says so and takes a message instead.
Does it connect to my booking system?
Not today. Channel managers and property systems are a later piece of work, and we won’t list them as a feature until they actually run.
What does it say about my rates?
Whatever you wrote — “rooms from $89”, in your words. It doesn’t add up a total for a stay, because taxes and fees aren’t something it calculates.
Will it text my guests?
Not yet. Automatic text-back is a later upgrade pending carrier approval, and nothing is texted to anyone who didn’t contact you first.
